The pool in Săliștea de Sus, at the Centrul Recreativ
Aqua Iza holds all its swimming lessons in the indoor, heated pool of the Recreation Centre, at Strada Fântâna Rece 1A. The pool and the public swimming belong to the centre.

Aqua Iza lessons take place in the indoor pool of Centrul Recreativ Săliștea de Sus, at Strada Fântâna Rece 1A, on the edge of the town of Săliștea de Sus, on the road linking the Iza valley to the Vișeu valley. The pool is open from June to October; from November to May the centre closes it, and that is when you can enrol for the next season.
The centre has changing rooms, showers and parking at the entrance. Parents can wait at the poolside during the lesson or use the centre's gym: while your child has fun in the water, you can keep fit running. The gym has its own hours and fees.
If you just want to swim, without a course, the centre also has public-swimming hours. The hours, entry prices and rules are set by the centre's management, not by the swimming school, so please confirm them on site or by phone.

Thank you, Săliștea de Sus
An indoor pool was never a given in our area. The town's Recreation Centre made it possible, and the Town Hall and Local Council of Săliștea de Sus opened the door to a swimming school for children too.
Aqua Iza teaches in the centre's pool under a rental agreement for the space. We thank them for their trust and for the space they provide. Every child from Săliștea de Sus and the villages around who learns to swim here is their merit too.

Lesson timetable
From June to October: weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings for those coming from farther away.
Group start times. Groups are formed by age and level, so the exact time is agreed at enrolment.
The first lesson matters most. Let's get it right.
Tell us the child's age and what they can already do in the water, and we propose a group. The first lesson is about getting comfortable, no pressure.
