In summer, the guesthouses on the Iza and Vișeu valleys fill with families. The Mocănița steam train in Vișeu de Sus, the wooden churches of Ieud, Bogdan Vodă and Bârsana, Borșa and the Merry Cemetery bring visitors from all over Romania and abroad. Many families stay a week.
For them we designed the intensive course: 5 lessons on 5 consecutive days, at the same time, at the indoor pool in Săliștea de Sus. In one week a 5–8-year-old gets past water confidence, learns to breathe properly and to float, and many cover their first metres alone.
The pool is 8 minutes from Dragomirești, 12 from Bogdan Vodă, 18 from Ieud, 31 from Vișeu de Sus and 42 from Borșa. Message us a few days before you arrive so we can book your time, and if you just want to swim, the pool also has public-swimming hours.

Prices are indicative and are confirmed at enrolment. Prices are in RON, per person. Payment is made at the pool, in cash or by bank transfer. Pool entry during the lesson is included.
The pool in Săliștea de Sus, at the Centrul Recreativ
Aqua Iza holds all its swimming lessons in the indoor, heated pool of the Recreation Centre, at Strada Fântâna Rece 1A. The pool and the public swimming belong to the centre.
